2、 reflect the position of GSRC.Marina(Rui)Wang*1SummaryThis report examines the implementation and impact of the World Trade Organizations Trade Facilitation Agreement(TFA)in five Central Asian countries:Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan,Tajikistan,Uzbekistan,and Turkmenistan.The three World Trade Organization(W

3、TO)membersKazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan,and Tajikistanhave fully met their TFA notification commitments.Through measures such as digital customs systems and single window systems,these countries have significantly reduced customs clearance time,improved trade resilience,and promoted economic diversification

4、.Non-WTO members,Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan,have also made reforms aligned with the TFA.However,the Central Asian region still faces challenges,including uneven progress in digitalization,inadequate access to information,and weak cross-border coordination.To fully unlock the TFAs potential for adva

5、ncing regional economic integration,Central Asian countries could focus on upgrading and integrating National Single Window systems,increasing regulatory transparency,strengthening interagency and cross-border coordination,and speeding up cross-border paperless trade collaboration.SummaryCONTENTS1.I
