1、 IntroductionIn June 2022,Chinese President Xi Jinping chaired the High-level Dialogue on Global Development.Issuing a Global Development Report was included in the Chairs Statement and the list of major deliverables.The Center for International Knowledge on Development(CIKD)was tasked with its prep

2、aration,under the guidance of the Development Research Centre of the State Council(DRC).The report looks at the current global devel-opment landscape and its pressing challenges,and puts forward a series of recommendations.It presents the CIKDs analysis of the critical devel-opment issues facing the

3、 world today and disc-usses potential policies for working towards a global community of development and acceler-ating the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.The Global Development Report 2025 is themed“Jointly Bringing Stability and Certainty to Global Deve

4、lopment”.It analyzes the major factors of instability and uncertainty facing the world and their profound impacts on global de-velopment.The report also systematically inter-prets the certainties and favorable conditions that counterbalance these challenges,and explores the general strategies and ma

5、in paths for promoting more stable and sustainable development.Key is-sues discussed in the Report include global trade,climate change,public health,food security and poverty reduction,industrialization in developing countries,digital and intelligent technology,coop-eration within the Global South,a
