3、odeling.In preparation of the potential use of DMT modulation,this paper discusses how IBIS-AMI modeling can be extended to include DMT.After the DMT fundamentals are introduced,details of standardization of IBIS-AMI modeling are addressed,including functional partitioning between the model and the

4、EDA tool,the specifications of DLL input and output waveforms and parameters,synchronization of sub-channel PAM/QAM configurations between TX and RX DLLs,are discussed,with specific example illustrations.Information Classification:General Author Biographies Fangyi Rao is a master R&D engineer at Key

5、sight Technologies.He received his Ph.D.degree in theoretical physics from Northwestern University.He joined Agilent/Keysight ESoft in 2006 and works on Analog/RF and SI simulation technologies in ADS.From 2003 to 2006 he was with Cadence Design Systems,where he developed SpectreRF Harmonic Balance

6、technology and high order perturbation analysis method for nonlinear circuits.Prior to 2003 he worked in the areas of EM simulation,nonlinear device modeling,and medical imaging.Hongtao Zhang received his Ph.D.degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California,San Diego in 2
