3、ancing its biotechnology regulatory landscape.Recognizing the benefits of genome editing technology as a key driver for enhancing the competitiveness and value of the agricultural sector,Thailand has taken a major step forward.On July 11,2024,Thailands Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives,signed

4、 groundbreaking legislation for genome-edited organisms on the new regulation,titled Certification of Organisms Developed from Genome Editing Technology for Agricultural Use,B.E.2567(2024).2 Executive Summary On July 16,2024,Thailand took a significant step in biotechnology regulation by passing the

5、 Ministerial Regulation on Certification of Organisms Developed Using Genome Editing Technology for Agricultural Use,B.E.2567(2024)2.This groundbreaking legislation,issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives,aims to position Thailand as a global leader in agricultural innovation.Followin
