In MY 2025/26, grapefruit production is expected to remain at or slightly above last year's level, primarily due to excessive heat during the blooming period in spring 2024. This marked the lowest production level in the past decade. Although the forecast for this year remains below the historical average, it is anticipated to be similar to, or marginally higher than, the previous year's output. Most of the grapefruit in Turkiye (77 percent) is produced in the Adana province.
