Solar energy is central to the the Integrated Sustainable Energy Strategy 2035, which positions solar to deliver a significant share of future capacity, attract foreign investment, cut fuel imports, and support climate goals. Egypt has witnessed rapid solar capacity deployment, with yearly additions climbing from 152 MW in 2023 to 700 MW in 2024, followed by 500 MW in 2025. The three-year buildout projects.
