The activities of the SRl of Sericulture have been effectively suspended. Its building in Tashkent is being auctioned, and the SRl itself is being relocated to the Markhamat district in the Andijan region (although recently this decision was nullified). However, a new facility has yet to be constructed and equipped. Nearly all staff members have declined to relocate and have resigned. This decision by the authorities was recently overturned, which has significantly impacted the SRl's operations.
