Exports to ASEAN markets soared, and those to most advanced economies in Asia increased by varying degree. Exports to the US recorded accelerated growth, while those to the EU declined in the first three quarters but bounced back in the last quarter. Analysed by major product group in value terms, exports of most products showed growth, in particular exports of electrical machinery and related parts, as well as telecommunications and sound recording equipment, sustained strong performance.
